Coffees from the Lekempti region, Wollega province situated some (250 km) west of the capital Addis Ababa, are prized for their dense layers of dark fruit and chocolate notes. Grown between 1500-2100 meters above sea level, the local coffee growers invested in improving quality from picking and sorting to processing and drying. The result of their hard work is an incredibly clean and crisp coffee with notes of melon, blood orange and mango and a distinct orange blossom aroma.

This coffee is a great revelation as a single-origin espresso blending, and has proven to be a strong, heady drip coffee on its own as well.

ORGANOLEPTIC DESCRIPTION

Aroma: Very intense, mature fruits, red apple, peach, milk chocolate

Flavor: Soft, milk chocolate, red apple, mature peach, oily body, very good balance.
